Going from 2 to 4 kids for the summer can be a big deal and a bit of a shock to the daily routine. To keep us all from going crazy, I've been gathering ideas to keep us busy. We've already scheduled in activities such as the Summer Reading Program, the Summer Movie Clubs (there are 3 different links there), Nature Nights at the Wildflower Center and the Texas Nature Challenge. Most afternoons will probably be spent lounging at the pool - and of course, some days we'll just do nothing at all (because, really, isn't that what summer is all about?).
The list below will be put into our Summer Fun jar... each evening we'll look to see what's on tap for the next day and if we don't have anything planned for the morning, we'll simply pull a strip from our jar and go with it. (Some of the ideas have more than one link included).
