Leah has been listening to the Magic Treehouse story on CD every night at bedtime - and we only have one... so I figured she would enjoy it if we checked some of the books out of the library and read them a few chapters at a time. The surprise has been how much Lincoln has liked them as well. They are getting really good at listening and imagining for a long stretch of time and usually want me to read four or five chapters in a sitting. It's been really fun to sit and read with them and the Magic Tree House website has a passport that you can print so you can keep track of which books you've read - that's almost as fun as the reading itself!

We are huge Magic Treehouse fans in our house and have most of them! I didn't know they came on CD...I should check that out.
gregory loves these books. it is fun to sit and watch him just read them but he and the others loved to be read to.

My kids are obsessed with these books. We are nearing the point when we don't have anymore to read so if you know of a good replacement....
The Magic Treehouse lady also has a Merlin series if you haven't already checked that out... also, my kids seem to enjoy Junie B. Jones - esp. Leah
