The Dino Museum

Lately, Peter's favorite place to go during the day is the "Dinosaur Museum" - aka the Texas Memorial Museum up on campus. It's a fairly small, very kid friendly natural science museum and is often very empty so I don't have to worry about the kids being loud.

This sabertooth tiger is out in front and is the first item of interest. You can hear Eli growling - this is what he does all through the museum, every time we see a dinosaur or other animal.

Then we get to try out all the microscopes and look at cool models of cells and native Texas wildlife... and finally we get to the dinosaurs!
