Leah was a champ this morning - she got a gold star (and more importantly, a popsicle) from the nurses for being a great patient. If there was any question of the effectiveness of the procedure, it was answered when she came out of her room at the back of the house to tell Andrew that the TV was on too loud and she couldn't go to sleep. Her favorite part of the day however was the great bugs she found outside the waiting area...
Snails, slugs and centipedes... it was love at first sight!

Did she get tubes in her ears? Rachael got them when she was 3 and she told us the same thing. She used to be the one that was always turning the TV up because she couldn't hear it but we even had to talk quieter after she got her tubes. Everything was loud to her.
yes, she got tubes in both ears - the doctor even seemed surprised at how much fluid they drained out so it's no wonder those poor little eardrums couldn't move!
